Litters and Litterboxes

Litterboxes

We can’t recommend this enough. Stainless steel doesn’t absorb odor like plastic, so it stays cleaner and fresher longer. It’s easy to wipe down, doesn’t scratch, and lasts basically forever. Once you switch, you’ll never go back.

Litter Scoops

Wire Litter Scoop

This simple design makes litter box clean up lightning fast. If you are scooping daily you don’t even have to shake to sift, the litter falls right through. I can’t tell you how much we love this.

Works best with small particle clumping cat litter, like traditional clay clumping litters.

Litter Genie

No matter what litter you end up using, a litter bin is critical. The Litter Genie does a fabulous job keeping the odors in – even while scooping. While I am not a huge fan of the scoop it comes with, the litter genie is great.

Dust-Free Flushable Litter

This is our favorite! Our babies grow up using natural, tofu based, flushable cat litter. We love it because it is dust free, clumps quickly, and is in smaller, easy to carry bags.

Tidy Cats Lightweight

If you have multiple cats or limitations on carrying heavy bags of litter home, this litter is for you. I do caution that it is not dust free, but it does a great job and won’t break your back. We use this mainly with our adult cats.

traditional litter

If you find that your litter is sticking to the bottom of the litterbox, you will love the Arm & Hammer Clump & Slide. The litter does not stick making for a quick daily clean up.

Tidy Cats Breeze System

I have become a big fan of this system. It is clean, nearly odor free, and has virtually no tracking. The supplies are a bit pricey though.
